February Wishlist

My budget allows for me to make about one significant fun purchase a month. Last month, it was the pants you all saw in my last post. And in case you didn't see that, check the bad ass pants out by clicking here! Anyways, we're about halfway through February, and my gears are turning on what I want my next special piece to be, assuming I can save up enough. Hmm. I'm thinking number three... If not, number two! (For those of you who don't know, I've had a massive obsession with Nirvana as well as doodling eyeballs all over everything since as long as I can remember obsessing over things - So this shirt is kind of a special find!)

Mad to Live

I've been lusting after this tunic since I started working at Anthropologie in May. I was looking at Free People online the other day (as I do every day) and saw they had it in red and I knew, in that moment, I wouldn't be able to resist any further.

So I didn't.

First of all, I knew this tunic was perfect for me because it's called "The Beatnik Tunic", and growing up I always had an obsession with the beat generation. I was excited to find that I could wear it with a million other things in my closet as well. I'm a little bummed that I didn't get more pictures of it today without the jacket, but I'm sure I'll be wearing it a lot, so that's not too big of an issue! Besides that, it was raining today... Boo.

These Days: Evolution

Life has been really relaxing lately. School just started back up again, which means there are no big projects to date. (Yet..) I've met some new nice people, I've been holding strong to my resolutions, and I really feel like I've been growing as a person. I'm a very adaptable person, to the point where I crave change; so for me, there's nothing more refreshing, exciting, or natural than feeling yourself grow and evolve. I always think of everyone having their own individual evolution, and the final evolution is to be a full, complete, true, and kind person. Not everybody makes it there, but I'm damned determined to.

That's my insight for the day. Here's some random photos of my life and stuff. Love to you all.

Lazy Lilac Days

It has been so sunny and gorgeous outside lately! Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to do a whole lot of shopping. (Actually, that never stops me. But I never buy what I need, and instead always buy what I want. Note to self: work on that...) Anyways, I don't have a whole lot of money (YET!) or resources to work with for super hot days right now. Regardless of that, I still put together a casual, light weight, and inexpensive outfit! I'm really loving pastels right now; I mean who isn't? It's spring time! But aside from that, this outfit also associates some of my other favorite things. Lace, a cardigan, and long necklaces. :) What is your go-to summer time outfit for a lazy day?

American Eagle - Paper-bag Shorts/Pink Tank (underneath)
Urban Outfitters - Pink Satchel
Forever21 - Metallic Sandals/Lilac Necklace
Charlotte Russe - Lilac Beaded Lace Top & Gem Cluster Necklace
