Back to Basics

Hey guys! I'm in a bit of a hurry right now, so I'll make this short and sweet. I dyed my hair back to my natural dark brown color! I was a little sad to see the pink go, but my modeling agency said I would have a lot harder time booking jobs with pastel pink hair. (It's an acquired taste, I guess.) Anyways, I'm glad to be back to brunette. I feel most myself like this, and I think my outfit reflects my 'back to basics' mentality.

Wishlist Wednesday!

Kenzie's Beauty Wishlist!

1. Urban Decay Naked Basics - I have both the large Naked palettes, and they are my favorite eye shadow palettes ever! I really want the new Naked Basics because it has more matte and natural shadows than the original Naked 1 & 2, and I prefer matte make up.

2. Simple Kind to Skin Exfoliating Wipes - Who doesn't love a good exfoliating wipe? I've heard from quite a few sources that Simple brand makes really great skin care products, but I have yet to try any.

3. Essie Brand Nail Polish in Watermelon - It's just such a cute color! I like it because it's not too pink, but not too red either. Perfect for Summer, or if you want red nails but don't want them to look too dramatic, and more fun.

4. Benetint - My mom uses this stuff when she gets gussied up and it always looks so pretty. I've never owned a liquid blush, but I think that this one is great for all skin tones and it also doubles as a lip stain!

5. BeneFit Mascara: They're Real! - Oh. My. God. Usually I can be pretty indifferent about mascaras. I mean, they all do the same thing right? Well I finally found one that is literally amazing! The name says it all, "They're Real!" gives the look of full, long, amazing lashes. Like, unbelievable lashes, and if it wasn't for the fact that it looks so natural like all BeneFit products, I'd totally think they were fake!

6. Marc Jacob's Daisy - Okay, so everyone who knows me knows that I love love love Marc Jacobs. Not just his clothes and accessories, but also his perfume! All the Daisy and Dot perfumes smell so sweet and feminine. I think I'm going to get a small one, because perfume lasts a long time and the smaller size is only $20!

7. Maybelline Color Tattoo - I'm a little nervous to try this, but it always looks so cute when I see it on other people. If nothing else, the white color would make a great base for a powdered eyeshadow to really pop. I still want to get a few, just to try!

8. Cover Girl Lip Smoochies - I am really wanting some of these! They have great reviews. They're a lip balm that also has the tiniest bit of gloss in it, as well as a slight pigment. So instead of having to put on your lip balm to keep your lips hydrated, then the color, then the gloss, it's all in one! The color above is "Tweet Me", but they come in so many cute colors and they're only 5.99!

Lazy Lilac Days

It has been so sunny and gorgeous outside lately! Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to do a whole lot of shopping. (Actually, that never stops me. But I never buy what I need, and instead always buy what I want. Note to self: work on that...) Anyways, I don't have a whole lot of money (YET!) or resources to work with for super hot days right now. Regardless of that, I still put together a casual, light weight, and inexpensive outfit! I'm really loving pastels right now; I mean who isn't? It's spring time! But aside from that, this outfit also associates some of my other favorite things. Lace, a cardigan, and long necklaces. :) What is your go-to summer time outfit for a lazy day?
