Wishlist Wednesday: Beauty Products

Hey guys!
It's wishlist Wednesday, as you may already know, and today I'm focusing on beauty products. I definitely do not need any more make up, but it is one of my favorite things to shop for. Of course I love shopping for clothes, shoes, accessories, and anything else fashion related, but getting new make up is just an instant pick me up. I think if you're looking for a way to change up your style, starting with your make up is an awesome way. Something as simple as wearing a lip color you might not normally wear can make you feel like a totally transformed person, and that's why I love make up so much! I'm the kind of person who changes a lot, and it's so much fun to get up in the morning being able to create a look that matches my mood, not just through fashion but also with make up and beauty products.

2. Sigma Make Me Classy Essential Brush Kit (I desperately need new brushes!)
3. Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection (So hard to find good matte shadows.)
4. Chocolate Soleil Medium Deep Matte Bronzer (Matte Matte Matte! Also, smells like chocolate!)
5. Benefit Benetint (Blush that doubles as a lip stain - my mom swears by it!)

Wishlist Wednesday: Girl from the North Country

Hey guys! It's Wishlist Wednesday, one of my favorite days! I went with a Free People again this week. (Couldn't help myself.) Only this time I specified it to FP's "Girl from the North Country" selections. Being a girl from "the north country" myself, I was pretty drawn to the title. Though I couldn't see myself fishing or trapsing around the tundra in these things, I think they did a great job of turning a wilderness look into something cute and fashionable! Here are my favorites, but check out the entire collection here!

I am definitely purchasing the Hartley Slouchy Hobo bag and the Patched Twill Pant sometime in the very near future!

Wishlist Wednesday: Red!

Hey guys!
Sorry I've been posting so late into the day. I'm going to try to start creating my posts the day before so I can get them to you in a timely manor. (Except for the outfit posts.) I have been thinking a lot about what to do for this Wishlist Wednesday. I almost decided on doing it on Free People's July catalog, but I did a Free People post last Wednesday! Instead I picked an overall theme, rather than specific items.
When I look into my closet, I see a lot of the same colors. I know this is a common problem for a lot of women - We know what we like, so when a top comes in the color we know we look good in, we purchase it! I have a lot of darker colors in my closet. Navy blue, olive green, black, gray, etc. I've always been told that I look good in red, but never wore it because I think I look too Christmas-y. Don't get me wrong, I've seen plenty of other women pull it off beautifully. Maybe I just have a Christmas-y face? Anyways, I've been craving some more red in my wardrobe! I think it's such a beautiful, fun, rich color, and if I can just get that silly Christmas idea out of my head (it's well on it's way out, don't worry) I think I could be seeing a lot more red in my future.

What colors do you wish you had more of in your closet?

Wishlist Wednesday: Free People!

Hey Guys! It's wishlist Wednesday again, and this week I am focusing on the store I can't get enough of lately - Free People! I don't know what it is about this brand; Maybe it's the carefree look, the flouncy prettiness, the quality, or all of those things, but I am loving everything they have for summer! This is just a small fraction of my wishlist. The Bossa Nova dress is probably my favorite - I've been eyeing it for the past couple of months. But because of my current, ahem, financial situation, I think my next purchase will be the Queensland bag - so cute!

Wishlist Wednesday!

Kenzie's Beauty Wishlist!

1. Urban Decay Naked Basics - I have both the large Naked palettes, and they are my favorite eye shadow palettes ever! I really want the new Naked Basics because it has more matte and natural shadows than the original Naked 1 & 2, and I prefer matte make up.

2. Simple Kind to Skin Exfoliating Wipes - Who doesn't love a good exfoliating wipe? I've heard from quite a few sources that Simple brand makes really great skin care products, but I have yet to try any.

3. Essie Brand Nail Polish in Watermelon - It's just such a cute color! I like it because it's not too pink, but not too red either. Perfect for Summer, or if you want red nails but don't want them to look too dramatic, and more fun.

4. Benetint - My mom uses this stuff when she gets gussied up and it always looks so pretty. I've never owned a liquid blush, but I think that this one is great for all skin tones and it also doubles as a lip stain!

5. BeneFit Mascara: They're Real! - Oh. My. God. Usually I can be pretty indifferent about mascaras. I mean, they all do the same thing right? Well I finally found one that is literally amazing! The name says it all, "They're Real!" gives the look of full, long, amazing lashes. Like, unbelievable lashes, and if it wasn't for the fact that it looks so natural like all BeneFit products, I'd totally think they were fake!

6. Marc Jacob's Daisy - Okay, so everyone who knows me knows that I love love love Marc Jacobs. Not just his clothes and accessories, but also his perfume! All the Daisy and Dot perfumes smell so sweet and feminine. I think I'm going to get a small one, because perfume lasts a long time and the smaller size is only $20!

7. Maybelline Color Tattoo - I'm a little nervous to try this, but it always looks so cute when I see it on other people. If nothing else, the white color would make a great base for a powdered eyeshadow to really pop. I still want to get a few, just to try!

8. Cover Girl Lip Smoochies - I am really wanting some of these! They have great reviews. They're a lip balm that also has the tiniest bit of gloss in it, as well as a slight pigment. So instead of having to put on your lip balm to keep your lips hydrated, then the color, then the gloss, it's all in one! The color above is "Tweet Me", but they come in so many cute colors and they're only 5.99!

What's on your summer's beauty must haves list or wishlist?
