Wishlist Wednesday: Red!

Hey guys!
Sorry I've been posting so late into the day. I'm going to try to start creating my posts the day before so I can get them to you in a timely manor. (Except for the outfit posts.) I have been thinking a lot about what to do for this Wishlist Wednesday. I almost decided on doing it on Free People's July catalog, but I did a Free People post last Wednesday! Instead I picked an overall theme, rather than specific items.
When I look into my closet, I see a lot of the same colors. I know this is a common problem for a lot of women - We know what we like, so when a top comes in the color we know we look good in, we purchase it! I have a lot of darker colors in my closet. Navy blue, olive green, black, gray, etc. I've always been told that I look good in red, but never wore it because I think I look too Christmas-y. Don't get me wrong, I've seen plenty of other women pull it off beautifully. Maybe I just have a Christmas-y face? Anyways, I've been craving some more red in my wardrobe! I think it's such a beautiful, fun, rich color, and if I can just get that silly Christmas idea out of my head (it's well on it's way out, don't worry) I think I could be seeing a lot more red in my future.

What colors do you wish you had more of in your closet?

Back to School

Hey everyone! I'm really excited today, because today is my first day back at school! It feels like it's been a long time since I've been to school, but really it's only been a two week break. I also have to take into consideration though that I went back home to Alaska for about 10 days before that though, too. Anyways, I'm excited to be busy again and I'm really determined this term to get good grades. I always say that at the beginning of every term, but this time I feel like I really mean it. Last term I didn't get the best of grades in a few of my classes, and it really made me feel guilty and horrible. I definitely don't want to feel like that again!
My favorite part about college is that you three (or in my case, four, because I'm doing summer classes) first day of school outfits! And then you also have to take into account the fact that you have multiple different classes. I love getting dressed for school. Going to school for fashion marketing, it's fun to get dressed up and express myself, and I love seeing how others do the same. School clothes shopping was always the best time of year for me growing up, because I didn't live anywhere near a mall or clothing store. I had to wait until August to go shopping. Once I got older I was allowed to take more plane rides into the city, but those are really expensive. Anyways, that being said, the first day of school is always exciting for me! New clothes, fresh notebooks, new classes, new subjects - It's like a mini new beginning, and I love that. :)

Hey guys! As promised, here is my current Anthropologie wishlist. Of course, this is only about 1/16th of what's on my list. (Can you blame me?) I'm getting this out to you all a little later than I had originally planned, but I ended up doing some much needed shopping with a friend. We went to Urban Outfitters, and I didn't want to buy too much because I'll be getting the employee discount soon, but I did get some cute stuff that I'll be sure to post. Until then, check out my Anthro wish list. I hope it inspires you to go online and do a little wishing of your own! :)
