Find Your Spring Style - FP Styling Event!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting so far this month. It's my spring break which of course means my sleeping schedule is even more out of control than usual, and my best friend visited me from Washington, and then - Then my camera broke. But I fixed it. With a hammer. Anyways.

I got to do a little shopping over spring break, and of course that meant visiting Free People (both online, and in store.) I have been lusting over this tee for months! I finally got my hands on it recently, and am obsessed. I don't think I've taken it off since I got it. There's so many ways to style it, but today I chose a simple approach with dark wash jeans, chunk socks,  the infamous (at least, infamous on my blog) Belmont clog, halter bra, and my very first ever wide-ish brimmed fedora!

Because of how FP inspired this outfit is, I thought it would be a great time to remind you all of the Free People styling event going on this Thursday! If you're in the Portland area, swing by Free People in Bridgeport Village for a special styling event, hosted by myself, Kacie (of Shy Girl Loud Voice) and Tonya (The Moptop). There will be refreshments, a photo booth, styling, and even a special free gift for the first 50 people who attend! RSVP here, and come on down to find your spring style!

Wishlist Wednesday: Girl from the North Country

Hey guys! It's Wishlist Wednesday, one of my favorite days! I went with a Free People again this week. (Couldn't help myself.) Only this time I specified it to FP's "Girl from the North Country" selections. Being a girl from "the north country" myself, I was pretty drawn to the title. Though I couldn't see myself fishing or trapsing around the tundra in these things, I think they did a great job of turning a wilderness look into something cute and fashionable! Here are my favorites, but check out the entire collection here!

I am definitely purchasing the Hartley Slouchy Hobo bag and the Patched Twill Pant sometime in the very near future!
