Second Chance

 I have been super busy lately with school and life. Actually, I'm not sure if I've been busy at all, but I've certainly been overwhelmed with school and life. I haven't had a lot of energy in the day, or good timing for blog pictures, so I thought I would share an outfit post with you all that I at first didn't think I was going to share. Sometimes I take photos and am in a bad mood or something goes wrong or whatever, and I'm kind of done with the whole thing. It's rare, but it does happen. (Maybe to the best of us? I don't know.)

This vest is something I've had in my closet for probably a little less than a year, and I've just now decided it was worth a wear. I never thought I was much for giving second chances, but these photos and this vest are proving me wrong. I hope you enjoy it, that might make being wrong a little more bearable. :)

Pale Pink

 I always edit my photos a bit, just for brightening and contrast purposes, but I assure you that my hair has remained untouched. That's right, my hair is pink! I had to dye it for an Aveda fashion show that I am walking the catwalk for, and I am absolutely loving it. I'm not looking forward to changing it back after the fashion show in order to get more modeling jobs, so I'm going to try and enjoy it as long as I can! 

I am so excited, because tonight is the Free People event that I am cohosting here in Portland! My boyfriend will be going towards the end of the event to take some photos, and I will be sure to share those with you all!

FUNK!

 Hey everyone. I almost didn't take blog pictures today. I feel so lethargic and weak. I think I'm getting sick, and all I want to do is sleep, be lazy, and play the Sims 3! Once again, I wasn't nearly as productive as I should have been today.

I'm getting really excited about Halloween though! The reason I even left the house today in this outfit is because, well, one, I love my new jacket but haven't gotten around to wearing it yet. Secondly, and most directly, I went to buy pumpkins today! I went to Whole Foods and picked out three perfect pumpkins. Every year I try to carve the best pumpkin and every year it doesn't work out - If this year is any different, I'll be sure to post about it on my blog! (And maybe even if it doesn't work out, I'll still post it on my blog! You just won't know til it happens!)

If you saw the last photo of this post, then you're probably wondering who that guy is in the bottom photo. Well, I don't know his name. He asked for 85 cents, and when my boyfriend complied, the homeless (or maybe he has a home and his hobby is begging on the street. Either way, he was very eccentric.) He told my boyfriend Matt that everyone who gives him money gets to pull on the rope he was sitting by and it gives them good wishes. He also said he is often mistaken for the drummer of a funk band, and when Matt took his picture, instead of saying "cheese" as Matt suggested, he held up a peace sign and said "FUNK!"

Pretty hilarious.
