When I put on this outfit, I was doubtful. I wasn't sure if it was flattering or a hot mess, if it was angelic or stupid, or if it was a fashion score or an epic fail. To tell you the truth, I'm still not sure, but I can tell you that after going with my gut and looking at these pictures now, I'm glad I decided on this bold outfit, rather than some of the safer versions I had on before my little photo shoot. It just goes to show, style is only a matter of instinct.

Take the Fall
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days! I've been pretty busy avoiding the sun. I'm beyond ready to start transitioning my wardrobe more towards fall, my favorite season for countless reasons. I couldn't exactly get dressed today using as many layers of cozy fabrics as I would have liked, but I could play a bit with the color palette. Ripped tights and sheer Victorian style tops in berry tones will just have to hold me over til it cools down!
What's your favorite season for fashion?

What to Wear This Summer!
Hey everyone! I don't know about you guys, but here in Portland, it has been so hot! The transition between fall clothes (which are my favorite to shop for!) to summer clothes can be challenging for everyone, and my summer clothes wishlist is getting longer every time I check out a shopping website! With the summer time juices flowing and my wishlist growing, I took some time to create three awesome go-to hot weather looks! Take a look!
I am so in love with maxi skirts with chambray shirts. It's so casual and effortlessly cool, and perfect for summer time! Not to mention the coral color is so in this summer!
Coral Maxi ♥ Chambray Button Down ♥ Sandals ♥ Coach Purse ♥ Layering Necklaces ♥ Gold Bangles ♥ Bare Essentials Shaddows ♥ Dolce & Gabbana Lipgloss

The Sheer Dress + Bandeau Top
Okay, you got me. I don't necessarily have a specific summer trend I was following with this outfit, other than the fact I just love it. One of the hardest things about summer for me can simply be that my most favorite clothes to shop far are more fall time appropriate. I prefer darker colors and layers, so I created this outfit with that idea in mind, but it's also light enough for summer!
Free People Slip Dress ♥ Pink Bandeau ♥ Jean Jacket ♥ Steve Madden Outlaww Boots ♥ Backpack ♥ Gold Bracelets ♥ Love Bracelet ♥ Trinity Wood Bracelet ♥ Heart Necklace ♥ Beauty Bar Shadows ♥ Pink Lipgloss

The Sweet Dress
I totally picture a southern bell going to a country club or something in this dress, or maybe one of the Gossip Girls! I think it's a really cute outfit because of it's simplicity. I'm usually not girly enough to wear something like this on a daily basis, but I think it would be fun and a cute idea if you had a reason to get a little dressed up while still keeping cool.
Lace Panel Dress ♥ Pink Sequin Cardigan ♥ Slingback Sandals ♥ Cambridge Satchel ♥ Stone Statement Necklace ♥ Pearl Studs ♥ Straw Hat ♥ e.l.f. Eye Crayon
