Outfits of October

Hey guys! I feel like this month has been a really full one for my blog. I've really begun to take it more seriously. I'm taking more photos, thinking more about different post ideas, promoting my blog on Facebook and Twitter, and having a lot more fun with it. I'm the kind of person who has a very hard time finding hobbies that stick; Usually whenever I find something I like, I get tired of it after a week or so. Blogging has been a totally different and new experience for me that is helping me in more ways than any of you could know, and I just wanted to say thank you! I appreciate everyone's support genuinely, and I love the inspiration I get from you all, whether it's from encouraging comments, new followers, or your guys' blog posts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Black Cats

Happy Halloween everybody! I love this holiday so much. It has always been one of my favorites. When I was a little girl, I was literally a witch every year until I was like, fourteen years old. I've always been obsessed with witches, magic, mystical things, the after life, black cats (cats in general, but we're not talking about that right now!), potions, all of it! I always feel like it's my favorite holiday, and I'm always really sad on November 1st when all the anticipation is over - But then I remember that Christmas is my other favorite holiday and I immediately begin to prepare for it. Literally, the next outfit post I do will probably talk about Christmas.

Anyways, unfortunately I have class tonight so I'm not going trick or treating or anything like that. I did however buy these kitty ears (couldn't resist. The sad thing is, I'll probably find an excuse to wear them throughout the year.) and this awesome cat sweater from Urban Renewal at UO. Keeping the colors spooky and dark with blood red and black, I think, was the best move. Though I'm not a witch this year, and I'm not going trick or treating, I'm not going to let that stop me from being super stoked and super festive!

What are your doing for Halloween/what did you do? Did you dress up?

Good Bad Luck

Today was kind of a hard day. I didn't too as well as I had hoped on two quizzes and was completely confused on a project I had due today. Money troubles and spilling my can of soda which was my only source of caffeine for the afternoon didn't help much either! I almost didn't take pictures but a friend of mine and fellow blogger (Hello AGAIN Kacie! :) ) reminded me that I should because I enjoy it. It's funny, I don't know if anyone else does this, but when I get done I don't do the things that I love. Taking these pictures actually did make me feel a lot better and my evening class wasn't as bad as my afternoon class, my mom prized me with some shopping money and reminded me that without crappy days, we would never be happy. It's funny how a day can start one way and end another.

In between classes I'm usually in a time crunch because I have to walk to and from one of them. I had this outfit styled up a little bit more in a fall way before I was ready to take photos, but rushing back was tiring not to mention the weather wasn't exactly chilly! Needless to say, I had to ditch the jacket. Luckily for me though, I managed to pick out a great piece in my grumpy state. This slip works well styled or on it's own!
