 Another gorgeous fall day which, unfortunately for me, was spent inside doing homework. (It's dejavu all over again!) Casual yet again for my homework filled day and environmental science class tonight. It's a super easy A, but it's 3 hours and 45 minutes long, which is a long time to talk about anything, but for me, it's an eternity to listen to science. Other than that, there's not much new in my life today aside from the fact I'm currently playing the new Nancy Drew game, Pretty Little Liars is on tonight, and so is Alexa Chung's "It"!

Versatile Varsity

Hello everyone! Today I'm wearing my new most favorite shirt ever, Free People's Touchdown Tunic! It's so comfortable. It's so cute. It can be work so many different ways. I love the color. I love the shape. But most of all, I love the way I felt when wearing it today. I think one of the most important things about fashion is that you should love what you're wearing. If you're trendy, that's cool and everything, but from my perspective you just can't pull off a look unless you feel confident in it! I saw this top a while back and have been thinking about it ever since. My original plan was to wear it with my leather skirt but (surprise!) I couldn't find it anywhere. I went with this floral skirt to add a bit of girly-ness to the outfit, which again, was not what I was going for in the first place which only goes to show how great this top can look no matter what you wear with it! I also can't wait to pair it with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans with the cuffs rolled up... Or over a dress... So many options!

Pretty in Pastel

This is pretty much the perfect summer dress for me. It has lace detailing, flowers, it's in a fun color, it's hort, it's Free People... It's perfect! I want to just live in it, it's so comfy to wear in this hot weather. You know, the kind of weather where all you want to do is lie in a tub of cold water and drink smoothies all day, and you can't go outside because you're afraid you may die of a heat stroke? Yeah, it's that kind of hot today. Maybe it's just because I'm from Alaska and the hottest days I ever see are in the mid 80s, but this is ridiculous. I was told I was going to be in for a rainy summer. Somebody lied!
