12th Man

It's the Super Bowl! I know a lot of you don't care, but I do. I went out and bought this shirt this morning specifically for today. My boyfriend was raised in Washington, and because Alaska doesn't have a team, a lot of Alaskans default their favorite team to being the Seahawks. Needless to say, I'm a Seahawks fan! I don't watch any other football teams, so I don't consider myself a football buff by any means, but when it comes to the Seahawks, I pay a lot more attention. I love the energy of being a sports fan, and I love how sports can bring people together. I hope you all have a fun time today, whether it's cheering your favorite time, watching the half time show (Go Red Hot Chili Peppers!!), watching the ads, or snacking on all the good food. Versatile Varsity

Hello everyone! Today I'm wearing my new most favorite shirt ever, Free People's Touchdown Tunic! It's so comfortable. It's so cute. It can be work so many different ways. I love the color. I love the shape. But most of all, I love the way I felt when wearing it today. I think one of the most important things about fashion is that you should love what you're wearing. If you're trendy, that's cool and everything, but from my perspective you just can't pull off a look unless you feel confident in it! I saw this top a while back and have been thinking about it ever since. My original plan was to wear it with my leather skirt but (surprise!) I couldn't find it anywhere. I went with this floral skirt to add a bit of girly-ness to the outfit, which again, was not what I was going for in the first place which only goes to show how great this top can look no matter what you wear with it! I also can't wait to pair it with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans with the cuffs rolled up... Or over a dress... So many options!
