I have an abnormally large collection of thigh high socks for someone who rarely wears them. Today, because of the gloomy weather clashing with my sunny day mentality, I decided a pair of thigh socks would be the perfect thing to keep my floral romper cozy. I love the look of a short hemline, long socks, and a long sweater. The juxtaposition of abnormal lengths is something that I always love in an outfit. I've had this cardigan for a long time, and it's probably the coziest thing I own. I was really excited to have an opportunity to style it up a bit. Working the outfit with my Jeffrey Campbell minimal lace ups was the cherry on top of a cute rainy day ensemble for me. Unfortunately, none of these items except the shoes are still being sold. Sometimes I shy away from items I know aren't sold any more because it means it's less fun for you guys, but I think what's more important is me giving you outfits that I think are truly, well, cute! I'm not ready to kiss these items goodbye just yet.
What do you think of knee high socks? Do you have any items you just can't get rid of?

I am a huge fan of thigh highs with a short dress and cardigan. It's comfortable and cute!
ReplyDeleteI keep battling if I want those shoes or not. I mean, I do want them, but I have pointe-shoe feet so I try to avoid too high of heels. Still, maybe with the FP birthday discount...
