Transition Period

It's finally starting to feel like fall! October is my favorite month so this is a pretty big deal for me. I love the smells, the colors, and the fashion of fall. October is my favorite month because it's the first month it really feels like fall usually, and I'm also a pretty huge fan of Halloween. However, this Eskimo isn't feeling chilled to the bone yet, so I decided today would be a good day to take a summer piece and transfer it into a great fall piece! This crop top is one I bought for those hot summer days, but I love the simplicity of it so I'm still really in the mood to wear it. Pairing it with high waist shorts would have been my go to in the summer, so I added thick tights, booties, and a leather jacket for a great fall look.

What are your favorite summer pieces to mix into your fall wardrobe?

Stripe Crop Top - Urban Outfitters | Faux Leather Jacket - H&M | BDG High Rise Shorts - Urban Outfitters | Black Opaque Tights - BP@Nordstrom | Booties - Dolce Vita

Nail Color - Marc Jacobs "Nirvana" | Lip Color - Marc Jacobs "No Regrets" | Eyes - Stila "In the Know" Palette

Among the Wild Flowers

I am so excited for fall. I don't think I can say that enough times. Yet another reason why I'm excited, as I realized today, is for this blog. I have a hard time styling summer clothes, because it's so hot and I don't like having on a bunch of things. I need simplicity in the heat. How could would this dress be with thick tights and a chunky cardigan sweater? It's a cute dress as is, but think of the fall time potential! Anyways, long story short, my style thrives in the cold and withers a bit in the heat. Until it cools down, I think I might have to just say you all should be expecting more favorites/wishlist/get the look posts instead of outfit posts, which saddens me because outfit posts are my favorite! I just want to be giving you all quality posts that are worth your attention, and a pair of shorts and a t-shirt which is the perfect summer outfit for my lazy days of hanging out with my boyfriend just isn't cutting it!
However, this is a pretty summery dress and I am loving the floral on floral pattern!

What season do you feel is easiest to style?
