Temporary Like Achilles

There are some days where I really don't want to take blog pictures. I'm lazy. I don't have any makeup on yet. It's already past 3 o'clock, which is when I usually take pictures for lighting purposes. Ugh.

I've had to remind myself of the importance of temporality often in my life, whether it be in the context of a blah day or an entire blah month. It's cheesy and annoying to hear when you're in the midst of the malaise, but it's true what people say - all things pass. So if you're having a good day, remember to say thank you to whoever you think you should thank, especially if it's yourself. And if you're having a bad day, push through, because there's another day coming right after this one. No matter what, try and remember this thought - which often brings me a strange and jarring comfort - it's all temporary.
