Usually I'm really self conscious about putting too many pictures of one outfit on my blog, but I chose a lot for this particular blog post because can you really have too many pictures of this slip? I don't think so. Some situations call for excess!
I saw this little ditty on the Free People website and bought it immediately! I have been so excited to wear it and post about it on my blog that I ended up not wearing it at all since I got it in because I wanted it to be perfect! (Ah, blogger problems.) I just couldn't stand it any longer today, and even though I'm only wearing it around my apartment and to environmental science tonight, I'm still so happy in it. That's when you know you've made a smart purchase!

The slip to me, has a really nice mixture of 1920s and 1990s styles. It reminded me a lot of something Courtney Love would wear, so I decided to wear it more in an edgy 1990s style than a glamorous 1920s style. Though Courtney would probably have opted for ripped hose and Mary Jane shoes, I think the general mood was carried over.
What do you think of the styling in this outfit? How would you have styled the piece?
Slip - Free People | Fleece Lined Tights - Urban Outfitters | Tank Top - Target | Moto Jacket - H&M | Booties - Dolce Vita
Lip Color - Lip Color - Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain 402 & Boxum Lipgloss | Eyes - Stila "In the Light" | Nail Color - Butter London's "444"
AH IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!! Just like we wee talking about, I love the mixture of girly and edgy!
