Somebody To Love

So I woke up today feeling super blah. I don't know if you guys ever have those days, but it's the kind of feeling where you don't feel happy and you don't feel sad, you just feel blah! It's hardest for me to pick out an outfit I feel confident in on those days, because nobody feels confident being blah and I like to dress in reflection with how I feel. I was picking out my outfit and tried a bunch of stuff on this morning when my boyfriend saw my frustration and told me, "Either dress in something really pretty so you'll feel better, or dress blah." At first I thought it was stupid advice, but it actually really worked. Dressing pretty when I feel blah usually just leads to nitpicking and more blahness, but dressing casual made me feel a lot better. When I feel blah, I just wear t-shirts. I found my Freddie Mercury t-shirt in the back of my dresser drawer and was so excited to wear it again. It's funny, the littlest things like an old t-shirt can turn around a blah day.

What do you wear on your blah days?

Freddie Mercury Tee - Forever21 | Plaid Shirt - Urban Outfitters | Jeans - BDG @ Urban Outfitters | Converse Sneakers - Converse @Nordstrom

Lip Color - BareMinerals Buxom "Marvelous Moxie" | Eyes - Urban Decay "Naked Essentials" Palette | Nail Color - Marc Jacobs "Nirvana"

  2. I have to say, you look anything but blah. You look pretty, understated and naturally cool. A much better choice than if you'd gone for a pretty dress where there's too much faffing around and ends up getting you all frustrated and even more blah. I have the white Cons too - love them.
