Insta-recap!

Hey guys! I'm still working out some kinks in my daily "theme" posts. (Yesterday was supposed to be my free day to post anything I wanted, and today was supposed to be inspiration day - according to the journal I wrote all this down in about two weeks ago.)

I'll get it all figured out this week, but I wanted to take today as my "free post" day! I see a lot of bloggers doing a sort of recap/behind the scenes kind of posts every so often. It's fun when you have a blogger you really admire, because you get to see what their actual lives are like - outside of posting about fashion! So here is my Insta-recap post, brought to you by Instagram!

Each row starting left to right
1. My adorable little kitty! She's my whole world. Sometimes I look at her tiny face and think about how she can't possibly know how much I love her. Then I think for all I know, she just might. She's so loving, and sleeps by me every night. Look at that little head. ♥
2. A little moment captured during one of my outfit photo shoots. My boyfriend is patient enough to take all my pictures just the way I want them. He's a pretty sweet guy.
3. I have this really cool art app on my iPad. It has a bunch of different mediums available, but the watercolor is my favorite. I posted this to my Facebook and a bunch of people thought it was a real water color.
4. I've started posting my outfit posts to my Instagram account and twitter. It's the most I've shared my blog with my friends and family; nobody really knows I have a fashion blog because I started it just for fun. Now that it's picking up more followers, I think I'll share it with the people I know in real life.
5. Remember those cousins who came to visit me? This is where they slept. Everyone in my family is super tall, I felt bad for my cousin Matt who is 6'5" (on the floor) who couldn't fit on the couch even if he wanted to. Lucky for his brother Timmy, who is a mere 6'2", it was available to him. He.. tried to make it work.
6. My new years resolution was to stop biting my nails - And I succeeded! I love painting my nails now, but I'm pretty out of practice since I haven't had long enough nails to paint since I was like, 7!
7. I wasn't in Portland for my birthday, but my boyfriend took me to the zoo. Being my favorite animal, the elephants got a lot of photo time.
8. Ahh! My stupid photography project! I was so unproud of it, but it got an A+, so I guess I should be a little proud. It was titled 'A Day in the Life of an Invisible Man'.
9. My handsome, super sweet, amazing boyfriend. He never makes a serious face in pictures though!

10. I'm so unbelievably homesick lately. When I get like this, I try to think of all the things I have in Portland that I wouldn't have in Alaska. Fresh produce is a big one!
11. I've been on a Nancy Drew kick lately. I wish more of the old games were rereleased for the Mac. I've finished Deadly Device and Ghost of Thorton Hall, and don't know which of the Mac ones to play next.
12. Another shot from one of the photo shoots - I just was in love with this door. So pretty! Like most of the buildings here in Portland.
13. One of my favorite pictures of my little princess, napping as usual.
14. Matthew! He's the best PB&J maker ever!
15. ...And the best cookie maker! He made these for me after a long day I had. And then proceeded to eat most of them. :)
16. Finally got a henna tattoo! Of course I got it with a Bright Eyes lyric - and my blog name. Kind of obsessed with crescent moons, stars, astrology, all of it. It got me thinking more about a real tattoo sometime in the future...
17. Netflix is finally getting some Disney movies! Hercules is an old favorite for sure. Hades is hilarious!
18. Matt's astrological sign is a Leo, the lion, so I think it's even more cute than normal when he takes cat naps side by side with the kitty -- My two favorite cats! :)
