Hey everyone! So I was thinking today about what to blog about for my whatever-I-want-post-Sunday, and I was having a hard time coming up with something that I wasn't going to talk about later on this week. While lazily scrolling through my Tumblr dashboard, I found this little list of questions, so I thought I'd fill it out, add a few pictures, and maybe you'd all learn a little something about me! I'm a pretty private person, but I try to talk about my life at least a little in outfit posts and such. I think learning about my favorite bloggers is cool, so I figured I'd give it a try!
1. How tall are you?
I am a whopping 5'9". I mean, I know that's not the tallest girl in the world, but the average height for women is 5'6" I think, so I'm definitely a little up there. I hate it because I can't wear high heeled shoes without being taller than everyone else, and I don't like being the center of attention. On the other hand, having long legs is pretty sweet.
2. How old are you?
I just turned 19 on June 2nd. :)
3. What is your shoe size?
8 1/2. Good to know in case any of you want to buy me shoes. (Just kidding, just kidding.)
4. Do you smoke?
No, I do not. I don't smoke cigarettes or marijuana, simply because I don't feel the need. But if you do either, that's cool too.

5. Do you drink?
Same as the last question. No, I don't, but not because I think it's wrong or anything, it's just my personal choice. (Not to mention it's a little tricky to buy alcohol when you're 19 but told you look a few years younger than that. Yeah.)

6. Do you take any drugs?
I take an Aleve when I have a headache. Pretty bad ass.
7. Age you get mistaken for?
That's really weird, I didn't read this question when I answered the last one! This one is kind of strange, because I get mistaken for being really young a lot of the time. 16 is said a lot, but in my modeling photos I supposedly look in my mid 20's. I'm a Gemini though, we're supposed to have baby faces!
8. Do you want any tattoos?
I do! I'm just not sure what I want, because I'm so fickle. I want to make sure I love it. The one's I've most seriously pondered are the lyrics "We could be heroes, just for one day" from "Heroes" by David Bowie. (Disclaimer: Yes I listen to David Bowie, and not just that song. I say this because it got hugely popular and everyone loved that song for a while - My mom was a huge Bowie fan, thus I had to be!) I've also seriously thought about an anchor, relating to my heritage coming from over a century of fishermen/women. Lastly, the one I really really think I'm going to get is something Red Hot Chili Pepper related. They're just one of those bands, for me, that makes your heart swell up and you feel so much when you hear them - They're very close to my heart.
9. Do you have any piercings/Do you want any?
I have my ears pierced, but I never wear any earrings because I'm allergic to anything that's not sterling silver/solid gold. Ain't nobody got the money for that. Just kidding, I'd just rather spend my money on other things. I have thought about getting my nose pierced, but like I said, I'm fickle!
10. Who is your best friend?
Well I have four.
1. I have my boyfriend Matt because he's the one I can tell absolutely everything and anything to and he won't judge me. He knows absolutely everything about me. He takes care of me when I'm sick, makes me laugh when I'm sad, gets me out of the house when I'm lazy, gets me to relax when I'm busy, and he is always so very sweet and kind.
2. I've known Timmy since he was born. (We're cousins.) We haven't been super duper close since I was about in the 5th grade though. He gives me the best advice and is always looking out for me. Even though he is two and a half years younger than me, I still think of him like an older brother because I know he always has my back. He's also by far the most hilarious person I've ever met, ever. No matter what I say, he never thinks I'm crazy. (Or at least he doesn't judge me for it.)
3. Ramie has been my best friend since around 6th or 7th grade. We just instantly connected on a level of thinking and understanding of one another. We even have a little symbol that we made up to use over the internet that means we were thinking the same thing, because it happens so frequently. She's also one of my only friends who I feel like I can share my tastes on everything with. I'm very private, like I said, and music is a personal thing to me. Ramie was the first person I ever had who I could share a love of music with in the same way.
4. Gabby! Gabby and I have only been friends a short while, but she became my best friend very quickly. We share the same sense of humor. I've always had a hard time being friends with girls - I'm not giddy enough, I don't dole out compliments for the sake of doling out compliments, I don't like pop music or sappy movies, etc. Gabby is the only girl who I can at times, indulge in those things, and others times, she can share a laugh with me about how ridiculous it is. We share the same opinion on so many things. I just can't even think of enough nice things to say about her. <3
11. Relationship status?
Well, as you probably figured out from reading this if you haven't seen through pictures already, I am happily taken by a guy named Matt.
12. What are your favorite movies?
Oh, God. I have a list! The Lion King is my favorite movie of all time. After that, some others that I really enjoy are Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, The Princess Bride, Natural Born Killers, plus any and every Adam Sandler movie.
13. Finish this sentence: I'll love you if...
You're genuine.
It's my biggest pet peeve when people can't be genuine, whether it's about things that they like or the way that they feel. I think it's a pretty rare quality to find these days, sadly.
14. Who is someone you miss?
Because I'm away, my first instinct is to say my family and friends. Aside from them, I really miss my dog. I had him for quite a while, but he was killed my senior year of high school. He was my little companion, and I still think about him all the time and miss him so much.
15. A fact about your personality:
It takes a long time to get to know me, and to get me to be comfortable being myself. I don't like talking about myself for the sake of talking about myself. If you ask, I'll tell you. If you don't, I probably won't.
16. What do you hate most about myself?
I think way too much. I get anxious really easily, and it seems like I'm always stressing about something. I don't seem like it on the outside, but on the inside I feel like my mind is always arguing with itself! (There's that fickle thing again.)
17. What you love most about yourself?
I absolutely hate questions like this. I don't know if it's the way I was raised, or if it's just a natural default setting in my brain, but I really don't think about myself in a positive or negative way. If there's something I don't like about myself, I work to change it. If it bothers you, I don't necessarily care unless it bothers me as well. All the rest is just who I am, and I don't think about it much in terms of if it's something I like or dislike. I guess that might be my favorite thing about myself.
But I'm also pretty good at making myself crack up laughing.
18. What do you want to be when you get older?
A rock star, duh.
19. Describe your relationship with your siblings in three words:
Goofy, growing, and protective.
20. Describe your relationship with your parents in three words:
Loving, respectful, friendship.
21. What is your idea of the perfect date?
Doing something outside, like going to the park or the zoo!
22. What do you look for in a boy?
Kindness, thoughtfulness, if he can make me laugh, if he has good taste, if he's honest. Those are the most important things to me, anyways.
23. A description of the person you would dislike the most:
People who try too hard! It happens so often these days, it seems like. This goes back to the whole genuine thing, I guess. It just seems like so many people try hard to be interesting, or creative, or smart, or cute, or fill-in-the-blank, when we should all just focus on just being. And being the best possible version of ourselves we can be, even if it doesn't mean being artistic, intriguing, or fill-in-the-blank - If that's you, that's you. Don't try to fake anything. That's my least favorite quality in anyone.
24. What do you hate the most about school?
Honestly, just how long the classes are. I'm a pretty quick learner, I'd like to just get in and out if I'm done with my work.
25. What words make you feel good about yourself?
That's an interesting question. How about...
Easy, lucky, free. :) To me, that's what life is about. Living shouldn't be hard, it should come easy. Lucky, to me, means just being fortunate for what you have. And free meaning exactly what it implies; free to be yourself, wherever you want, whenever you want. Not being tied down. Those kinds of words make me feel pretty damn good.
26. What is one of your insecurities?
"I've thought myself out of happiness many times, but not once into it." - Jonathan Safran-Foer.
That explains it pretty well.
27. My childhood career choice:
Either an artist, an actress, or a musician.
28. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Mint chip!
29. Who do you wish you could be?
What's the point in wishing to be someone else? It seems like that would cause a lot of unhappiness. Bad vibes.
30. Where would you rather be right now?
On a beach or at a concert.
31. Who is the person who comes to your mind when you hear the word 'sexy'?
Oh-hoh! Anthony Kiedis is my soul crush, inside.. and out. ljs;lfjoieljaf so much love!
32. Name a random fact about anything!
Dream catchers originally had nothing to do with dreams. They were to ward off, well, bad vibes. Which is still a cool enough meaning to get it tattooed on your body, but it's kind of a pet peeve of mine when people who have nothing to do with and no interest in native culture buy into these things that they don't even understand. Sorry for that little rant. #eskimoproblems (Even though Eskimos didn't invent dream catchers either... Lol.)
This is such a fun post idea! lol I get really anxious so easily to! Like when I'm in a new situation I always over think what I should do lol. I get so annoyed at stuff like that too for example butterflies!! I hate when girls get tattoos of butterflies because they don't understand the true meaning behind them and ruin it for the rest of us!
